*INVITED*
I was invited down to the opening of Townhouse for their trial night for businesses and bloggers of Halifax.
It’s located on Foundation Street next to the Victorian theatre. It’s got three different floors depending on what kind of night you’re after: the bottom is a club, the middle is a bar with tv’s for sport and the top floor is the roof terrace with another bar adjacent.
Walked through the door and was greeted with a glass of Prosecco and a few free drinks cards, can’t go wrong. Throughout the night there was various bits of live music across the place and people coming around with food.
I managed to grab the barbecue chicken wings, the salt and pepper chicken wings and the barbecue ribs. All really enjoyable and perfect snack for the night! Gutted I didn’t grab any of the burgers or pizza.
If you ever head to Townhouse then I’d say head to the roof terrace, it offers something different to Halifax and on a nice day, it would be amazing. There are loads of lil cool photo spots as well with different lighting/decor so plenty of variety for Instagram. Obviously, with some areas having that dark and moody look it makes it difficult for lighting for images. So drop that saturation and create cool black and white shots, they’ll look sick!
I see it as being a good place for pre-drinks on a night out in Halifax, due to its location and atmosphere. Alternatively, they show football and other sport as well (MOT).
That’s all, be sure to go follow me on Instagram (@cmcg.creative) and hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.
Thanks
Cam
